Save Our Lady of Peace was formed by the parishioners of
Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Clarence, NY, for the purpose of working towards the reversal of the Diocese of Buffalo’s decision to close or merge Our Lady of Peace parish.
The group welcomes all suggestions from parishioners and will regularly update the parish on the steps that are being taken to reverse the current Diocese of Buffalo plan to merge Our Lady of Peace parish with Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish,
also in Clarence, NY.
This plan will leave Our Lady of Peace as a
Secondary Worship site for Nativity parish.
We oppose this merge for many reasons, including the nonconformance to Canon Law which the Diocese of Buffalo is required to follow.
